Job Overview

HAFI Contracting Group is seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and light commercial construction and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general construction tasks including framing, drywall, finishing, and demolition.
• Assist with installation of doors, windows, flooring, siding, and roofing.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction (residential or commercial).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

• Experience in carpentry, concrete, or renovations.
• WHMIS or Working at Heights certification.
• Experience with power tools and heavy equipment.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and site safety.
