Job Overview

HAFI Contracting Group is seeking a hardworking and skilled Landscape Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping and outdoor construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and grading.

Key Responsibilities

• Install interlocking pavers, patios, walkways, and driveways.
• Construct retaining walls and garden beds.
• Perform grading, leveling, and site preparation.
• Assist with sod installation, planting, and drainage systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping or construction.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Knowledge of landscaping materials and construction techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

• Experience in concrete finishing.
• Experience with interlock, concrete, or retaining wall systems.
• Equipment operation experience (skid steer, mini excavator).
• Knowledge of drainage and grading techniques.
• WHMIS or Working at Heights certification.
